STATE FORMULA AID · 2016 TO 2026 · INFLATION ADJUSTED

68 districts with more buying power

These districts’ state formula aid could buy more in the completed 2025–26 school year than it could in 2015–16.

Both amounts use 2025 prices. We increase each 2016 payment by 34.1% to reflect rising prices, then compare it with the recorded FY2026 payment, using 2025 prices as an approximation. Full-year 2026 inflation is not yet available.

This is one part of school funding: foundation-formula aid plus the Classroom Trust Fund. These are district totals, not total school budgets or amounts per student. Student counts, needs, and funding rules may have changed. The change does not measure the 2016 law’s effect alone.
